In a morning session with the House Committee on Small Business, Google Vice President David Fischer revealed that over 92 percent of adults research on a product before they buy in a store.
Fisher, while speaking about the role of small businesses in stimulating the economy, mentioned, “”Small businesses are increasingly going online to better connect with both existing and prospective customers. According to the National Retail Federation, over 92 percent of adults regularly or occasionally research products online before buying them in a store.”
These words were encouraging for small business owners who compete in the online market. The Full Committee Hearing was held on April 24th 2008 on the topic “The Role of Small Businesses in Stimulating the Economy” at Longworth.
