Google launched a competition for school kids in United States. School children of any age can participate in this competition. The children are asked to design a Google Logo for the question, “What If…?”. The winner of Doodle for Google competition would be presented a $10,000 college scholarship and also a $25,000 technology grant where the child is studying.
The winning logo would be displayed in Google homepage on May 22, 2008.
Google has informed that the Doodle 4 Google competition is open for students in K-12 in United States. The doodles by the school students would be judged by the creativity, representation of the theme and artistic merit. The finalists across all age groups would be selected by independent judges and Google employees. The final four would be selected by the public through an online poll.
Teachers willing to have their students participate in Doodle 4 Google contest can register their class online by going to www.google.com/doodle4google. All registrations close on March 28 and all entries must be postmarked for selection by April 12, 2008.
