Delete Cookies in Internet Explorer 7 – IE7
Follow the steps below to manually delete cookie files in your Internet Explorer 7 browser.
- Close your Internet Explorer 7 browser, and any other Windows you have opened.
- Click ‘Start’ on the left corner of your desktop, click ‘Run’, type inetcpl.cpl, and press ENTER.
- On the ‘General tab’, click ‘Delete’ under ‘Browsing History’ in the ‘Internet Properties’ dialog box.
- In the ‘Delete Browsing History’ dialog box, click ‘Delete Cookies’.
- In the ‘Delete Cookies’ dialog box, click ‘Yes’.
Delete Cookies in Internet Explorer 6 – IE6
Follow the steps below to manually delete cookie files in your Internet Explorer 6 browser.
- Close your Internet Explorer 6 browser, and any other Windows you have opened.
- Click ‘Start’ on the left corner of your desktop, click ‘Run’, type inetcpl.cpl, and press ENTER.
- On the ‘General’ tab, click ‘Delete Cookies’ in the ‘Internet Properties’ dialog box, under the ‘Temporary Internet Files’.
- In the ‘Delete Files’ dialog box, click to select the ‘Delete all Offline Content’ check box, and then click ‘OK’.
Delete Cookies in Mozilla Firefox
- Open your Firefox browser and click on the “Tools” menu which is next to Bookmarks.
- In the “Tools” drop-down menu, click on “Options” found in the bottom.
- Once the Options pop-up window opens, choose the Privacy” icon. This would displays the Privacy Settings in the same window.
- Now to erase the temporary Internet file “Cookies” click the “Clear” or “Clear Now” button found in the bottom of the window.
- This will either clear your cookies or pop up another window depending on your Firefox version. If it does not pop-up a window, your cookies have been deleted.
- If a pop-up opens, choose the items you want to delete and select “Delete Private Data Now”. This will delete all the data you have chosen.
Delete Cookies in Netscape
- Open your Netscape browser and click on the “Tools” menu.
- In Tools menu select “Options”.
- Selecting the Options would pop-up a window
- Select the “Privacy” icon found in the left side of the window.
- This would displays the Privacy Settings
- Now, to delete cookies, click on the button labeled “Cookies” near the bottom of the list.
- Now click the “Clear” button to delete cookies.
